As a doctor, USATF certified coach, and former D1 athlete, my mission is to redefine the limits of athletic and coaching success by mixing neuroscience with sports performance.
My dedication is driven by an annoyingly insatiable curiosity and a host of personal experiences. Growing up as an at-risk youth, I had a very limited view of what life could look like or what kind of opportunities were available to someone like me. Sports, particularly cross country and track, changed that for me.
Running gave me discipline, purpose, and a community that believed in me. It took me from being a first-generation college student to earning a doctorate, growing mentally and spiritually, and building a life I could never have imagined.
It was through running that I met my wife, started a family with three amazing children, and developed the skills to give back to athletes who, much like my younger self, don’t realize the opportunities within their grasp.
Dr. Zac has spent the past 17 years studying, treating, and teaching about the brain at top Brain and Spinal Cord Injury hospitals and universities. After years of treating brain injuries and neurological disorders, he realized that principles like neuroplasticity and mirror neurons, which he used to help patients, could revolutionize the world of sports performance.
What sets us apart from our competitors is our ability to bring that wealth of neuroscientific knowledge and merge it with our expertise in sports performance, coaching, and recruiting. This allows us to deliver innovative, evidence-based methods that our competitors can’t provide.
